Exam Pattern & Key Details

  • Syllabus: All exams are now conducted exclusively under Syllabus 2022.
  • Mode: Centre-based, offline (pen & paper). Certain Professional papers are open-book.
  • Duration: 3 hours writing time plus 15 minutes of initial reading time.
  • Passing Criteria: Score at least 40% in each paper and 50% in aggregate for the module.
  • Exemptions: A score of 60% or more in any paper can make you eligible for an exemption in that paper.

Eligibility & Pre-requisites

  • Entry: Must have passed the CSEET (CS Executive Entrance Test) or hold an eligible exemption.
  • Mandatory Training: Complete the Pre-Examination Test (PET) and One Day Orientation Programme (ODOP) before enrollment.
  • Documents: A valid Admit Card and a government-issued Photo ID are mandatory at the exam centre.

How to Check Result (Today)

  1. Visit the official ICSI Result Portal.
  2. Select your programme (Professional at 11 AM, Executive at 2 PM).
  3. Enter your Roll Number & 17-digit Registration Number.
  4. View and download your marks statement for your records.

How to Download Admit Card

  1. Log in to the SMASH Portal.
  2. Navigate to `Student` > `Examination` > `Admit Card`.
  3. Enter your Registration Number to generate the hall ticket.
  4. Verify all details and print it on A4 paper.

Post-Result Options

Apply within 21 days of the result declaration if you suspect a totaling error. Fee: ₹250 per paper.

What are today’s result timings?

Professional results will be declared at 11:00 AM, and Executive results at 2:00 PM on August 25, 2025.

Is the June 2025 exam only under Syllabus 2022?

Yes. From the June 2025 session onwards, both Executive and Professional exams are conducted exclusively under the New Syllabus 2022.

Is there negative marking in the CS exams?

Typically, there is no negative marking for descriptive answers. For any objective or case-based questions, refer to the specific instructions provided on the question paper.

What calculators are allowed in the exam hall?

Only simple, non-programmable, noiseless, battery-operated calculators are permitted. Scientific or financial calculators with advanced features are not allowed.
